•Classify the Objective according to its instructional strategy.
•Add Word or PPT content to the objective.
•Add web-based types of content to the objective.
•Add Video content to the objective.
More information is available from the Advisor topic “Classifying Instructional Objectives.” Also, see "Adding Various Types of Content" for more information about creating content objects for an objective.
The Consolidation menu item displays analysis items that are associated with and “consolidated” into the selected objective. Consolidated Analysis components are not represented individually by separate objectives, but rather are taught within the objective as content or teaching points. If you plan to enter content into the objective using the Content menu item, review the Consolidation items first so that you will be aware of the Analysis components to address in your content. From the Analysis Links page you can:
•View a list of the Analysis Hierarchy nodes associated with and consolidated into this objective.
•View the Properties of those nodes.
•Unlink nodes.
•Rebuild the hierarchy if you get a database error.
Refer to "Developing Objectives," for more detailed instructions on this menu item.
The Questions menu item displays a list of test questions that are currently associated with the selected objective. The two-character abbreviation in front of the text indicates the type of question. From this page you can:
•View the questions associated with the objective.
•Create new questions.
•Open the question's Properties window.
• Unlink a question from the objective.
• Preview questions as they will appear on a test.
• Rebuild the links between the objectives and the questions if you get a database error.
Refer to "Developing Objectives" for more detailed instructions on this menu item.
You can see this same list in the Question links window below the Objectives Hierarchy.
