Here you can classify the objective, edit its content, and control which content sections are shown in the Learning Station for the objective.
You first have to classify an Objective before you can create content for it. But after content has been created, an objective can be unclassified, if desired.
To enter Word or PowerPoint content for an objective, you must first choose a classification for it. Every objective can be classified according to what type of content and behavior are involved. There are seven different classifications to choose from:
•Concept
•Rule
•Procedure
•Recall/Fact
•Process
•Structure
•Free Form
Initially, an objective has no classification.
Each of the above classifications, except Free Form, is associated with its own learning strategy. These seven strategies are described in the VISION Instructional Advisor.
Note: If you choose "Free Form", you can still enter content, but the Instructional Advisor offers no specific advice for developing that kind of content.
