The Test Properties workscreen is displayed when you create a new test or view/edit the properties of an existing test. This workscreen has the following tabs:
The process of making tests - an overview
Steps for using or editing an existing test
This checkbox indicates the "built" state of the test. It is informational only; it doesn't respond to mouse clicks.
The built state is also implied by the label of the button at left: "Build Test" means the test needs to be built, while "Rebuild Test" means the test is already built, but can be rebuilt if desired.
"Building" a test means re-scrambling the choices for its multiple-choice questions.
Is this test ready to be administered to learners? Is it still in development? Is it currently unused? Select the status that best represents its standing.
An exam's status might affect its participation or presentation in VISION reports, as well as the VISION Learning Station (if applicable). For example, a particular report might be programmed to list an exam only if its status is "Approved".
Note: Provided you have been granted permission to edit lists, you can make changes to the list of available statuses. Each project has its own list of statuses; changes to a list affect only the owning project.
The Test's status must be "Approved" before it can be seen by learners. If you are not sure what to do to put a test into Approved status, review the items on the Test Status Checklist.
