The Summary tab shows the summary of the questions that are selected on the Selection tab. All of the information displayed on this tab is for viewing purposes only.
Summary of Selected Questions
This section shows how many questions of each question type are selected to test. The left column shows the count obtained when scenario questions are counted as one question each. Thus this count corresponds to what is seen on the Selection and Question Order tabs.
The right column shows the count that is obtained when the individual questions ("sub-questions") enclosed inside each scenario are counted as one question each, and the scenario itself isn't counted at all. Thus this count is the "true" question count; it corresponds to the questions as they are actually enumerated on a printed exam.
If the exam doesn't include any scenario questions, then the left and right columns will have the same values.
Test Summary
This section summarizes the following:
•Total Points – Total points the test is worth.
•Total Time – The total time it should take for a student to complete the test.
•Avg. Difficulty – The average difficulty for the test.
Note: The "Total Time" and "Avg. Difficulty" fields are only valid if you used the "Time to Complete" and "Difficulty" fields on the General Info. tab of the Question's Properties workscreen.
If you used a profile based on points, time, or number of questions to test, this section can be used as a quick reference to see how close VISION came to meeting the limits specified in your profile.
Objective Summary
The list of objective types all of the objective level names used on this test. If you select an item in the list, you can see:
•The project from which objectives of that type came from.
•The number of questions in the pool that belong to this type of objective.
•The number of those questions that were selected to test.
Note: The Objective Summary isn't applicable to tests made directly from questions.
