The Benefits of Storing Content in VISION Developer

While you may not need to store objective content in VISION Developer, there are some benefits to doing so.

Content development is more straightforward when it is limited in scope, based on a single objective, linked directly to teaching points in the analysis hierarchy, and bundled with assessment instruments in an independent and reusable learning object.

You can leverage already-existing content by reusing objectives in Lesson plans (training units), and you can generate materials on demand using the VCT.

Both question performance statistics and the content intended to teach those questions are linked to the same objective, which simplifies analyzing an objective's instructional effectiveness.

Housing print-based content in VDM makes it available as a resource if you decide to change to an online format (as many training organizations were forced to do during the pandemic).

If you have the VISION Learning Station, you can gain even more from storing your content in VISION objectives.

Action items created in the web module can be linked directly with the VDM training unit, making it easier to update content based on learner feedback.

Missed-question remediation is highly targeted and specific to the question that was missed, which makes remediation effective and efficient.

You can use question feedback and course evaluations from your learners to aid your analysis of instructional materials.

Online Qual Cards can deliver instruction related to the Tasks (via the linked objectives) on the card.

Having content in both print and online formats in VDM allows you to be flexible in training setting as circumstances change.
