When you enter a question into the VISION Developer module, you are in complete control of the font, size, and other formatting options. VISION will use the default font set for the project, but you can easily override it by clicking the Zoom button and customizing the question's format with the RTF editor.
If you decide to change your project's default font, keep in mind that it will affect all RTF fields for the entire project, and it will only apply to new fields. All previously filled out fields (like existing question parts) will retain the formatting they already possess.
For questions, we recommend using a large font, especially if you plan to present them online. VISION's default font size (Arial 10) is too small for many learners to see easily.
Learners can also change question size in their browser by using the browser's Zoom feature. Typically this can be used by holding down the Ctrl button and using the mouse wheel to zoom in or out on the browser window's content. Of course this can change the position of the data in the window in unexpected ways, and may not be convenient for learners. Unfortunately there is no way for learners to customize the font or size of the text in lessons or tests.
Example
Here is an example of a question with a picture in the VISION Developer module and in the Learning Station, as it would be presented to learners on a test. The question stem (including a picture), the items, and the choices all appear in the Learning Station as they were entered into the VISION Developer.

Activating or Deactivating a Test Question
A question cannot be selected on a test unless it is 'Active.' This is indicated when the Status field on the General Info. tab says 'Active.' To activate or deactivate a question, double-click on a question to go to the Question workscreen. On the General Info. Tab at the Status field, open the pull-down menu and:
•Select 'Active' to activate the question and allow it to appear on a test. •Select any other status to deactivate the question and prevent it from appearing on a test. Note: A security event controls the ability to change a question's status to or from Active. To view your security profile select Project Security Profile from the Main Menu.
