VISION User Guide

While most of VISION's reports and documents are located on the Outcomes menu, some are located in places specific to their subject matter, and may be difficult to find if you are not familiar with them. This is a list of all of the "System Reports" available outside of the Outcomes menu and steps to find them.

Warning Note that all of these reports can be changed. These instructions only represent the default reports included with your initial VISION installation.

Test Reports

Test Search Window Reports

Several reports can be generated on the Test Search Window.

Test: Generate the test document. This is the student-presentable form of the selected test.

Student Answer Sheet: Generate an answer sheet for the selected test. This isn't needed if the student will enter response directly on the test document.

Answer Key: Generate an answer key (grading key) for the selected test. This shows the questions and their correct answers.

Answers Only: Generate an answer key for the selected test that shows the answers only, without the questions.

Specification: Generate the "Test Specification" document that lists the objectives and questions included on the test, as well as objectives that do not have questions on the test.

To access these reports, follow these steps:

1.On the Main Menu, select Test and Open.

2.Use Search to show your tests.

3.Click on a test to highlight it.

4.Click the "Generate a Test..." button. Test Generate

5.Select the report.

TipThese reports can also be generated on any page of the Test Properties. Click the "Generate a Test..." button. Test Generate and select the report you wish to run.

Test Statistics Report

This report displays a list of the questions on the selected test and their responses, along with other data, such as point value and average score.

To access these reports, follow these steps:

1.On the Main Menu, select Test and Open.

2.Use Search to show your tests.

3.Click on a test to highlight it.

4.Click the "View/Enter student scores..." button. Test Scores

5.In the Test Statistics window, click the Report button.

Question Reports

Questions Preview

This report is available on the Questions page of Skill/Knowledge and Objective properties windows. Click the Preview button to see how the question will appear when printed. You will also find a Print button on this report.

Review Questions

These reports allow you to review all of the questions for a set of hierarchy nodes together. These reports can be accessed on the Analysis, Objective, and Program hierarchies by right-clicking on a node and selecting "Review Questions". The node you selected and all of its subordinates will be displayed with all of their questions (if applicable). Nodes that could have questions but do not will display "No Questions".

Qual Card Reports

Project; Qual Card; Open Qual Card Properties window, General page, Document button, select a report.

Qual Card: Generate an instrument for qualifying learners on tasks.

TPE: Generate a Task Performance Evaluation for each task on the qualification card.

OJT: Generate an On the Job Training document for each task on the qualification card.

Procedure: Generate a document with instructions, conditions, notes and steps for each task on the qualification card.

Search Results

An additional type of report is the Search. This can be accessed from the Main Menu by selecting Search, and then choosing the type of search that you want to use. There are three kinds of searches that you can perform.

Batch Insert Reports

The Batch Insert allows you to add multiples of the same kind of node to a hierarchy all at once. Unlike the Analysis Assistant, the Batch Insert is available in all hierarchies: Analysis, Objective, and Program.

Batch Change Reports

To access these reports, click on Node on the Main Menu or right-click on a hierarchy node. You can select nodes with Ctrl+click or Shift+click. You can choose the selected nodes and/or their subordinates. the Batch Change report allows you to make changes to multiple Analysis, Objective, Program, and Question nodes at the same time.
