Create a New Qual Card for a Job Position

Assign Trainers or Evaluators to Qualification Cards

Link qualification cards to job positions so that the users in the job position will be automatically assigned to them. Qualification cards are organization specific. They cannot be used for other organizations, but they can be used for different job positions within an organization.

Link an Existing Qual Card to a Job Position

To assign qualification cards to organization job positions, follow these steps:

1.Click on Administration on the Main Menu.

2.Click on the Organizations tab.

3.Click on an organization link.

4.In the hierarchy, click on a job position node.

5.Click the Qual Cards tab and then the Link Qual Card button.

6.On the Link Qual Card screen, check the box(es) of the card(s) you wish to link to this job position.

7.When you are finished selecting qualification cards, click the Link Selected button.

8.You will now see these qualification card listed on the Qual Cards tab of the Selected Node menu.

Next, assign trainers or evaluators.

Create a New Qual Card for a Job Position

To create a qualification card for an organization's job position, follow these steps:

1.Click on Administration on the Main Menu.

2.Click on the Organizations tab.

3.Click on an organization link.

4.In the hierarchy, click on a job position node.

5.Click the Qual Cards tab and then the Add Qual Card button.

6.Enter qualification properties, which are described here: Add Qualification Card

7.When you are done entering properties, click the Add Qual Card button.

Next, assign trainers or evaluators.

Assign Trainers or Evaluators to Qualification Cards

To assign trainers and evaluators to qualification cards from organization job positions, follow these steps:

1.In the Administration area, click on the Organizations tab.

2.From the list of organizations, click on the one that you want to use.

3.In the organization hierarchy, click on the job position node that you want to assign trainers for.

4.Click the Add Trainers/Evaluators to Tasks button on the Selected Node menu.

5.Select a project from the list and click the Next button.

6.Click on the task for which you want to add a trainer or evaluator.

7.You will be taken to the "Assign Trainer(s) and Evaluator(s)" page, where you can select trainers and/or evaluators based on their security settings.

8.Choose your criteria from the security settings listed, highlight the name(s) you want, and then click the "Add/Remove Trainer" or "Add /Remove Evaluator" buttons to make your selections.

9.When you are finished, click the Done button.
