A VISION Learning Station Organization is a collection of users who share common courses. An organization may represent all of the users in one company, but it could also represent a division of a company, depending on the organization's needs.
Creating a new organization takes several steps. See the Organization Job Aids for help in this process. Here is a brief overview of the process:
1.Create the organization with the Add Organization button.
2.Build a Hierarchy for your organization.
3.Add VDM projects to the organization with the Projects link on the organization's properties page.
a.You may also wish to assign job positions to VDM work areas.
4.Add personnel to the organization with the Users button on the organization's properties page.
Click the Filter button to sort organizations by name or their system-generated identification numbers.
Click the Add Organization button to create a new organization and see the Add Organization Job Aid for instructions.
The Organization List lists all of the organizations available to your current security level and with your current filter settings.
The system-generated identification number of the organization.
Title of the organization. This organization might represent a department of a larger organization. Click on the link to view its properties.
This is the email address of the user who will be responsible for receiving notifications when users have issues with the organization.
