Setting up Projects and Work Areas

What is a Project?

A VISION database is divided into “projects”. The VISION project team or the database administrator usually decides how and sets them up in the VISION Security program.

A project usually represents a total training program. If the training programs at an installation are oriented around complete job positions, such as Maintenance Technician, Engineer or Operator, a project may be defined for each. On the other hand, training programs might be oriented around organizations or major processes. In this case, the team might establish a project, for example, in Manufacturing, and another in Engineering.
