Before you begin, make sure you have the response types that you need for your evaluation question.
Create a new Course Evaluation
Edit an Existing Course Evaluation
Course Evaluations do not need to be added to course events, but they can provide valuable feedback about users' experience with the course material or instruction. Each course evaluation can be used with a variety of courses, so you do not need to make a new one for each course event.
Follow these steps to create a new Course Evaluation:
1.In the Administration area, click on the Course Evaluations tab.
2.On the Evaluations tab, click the Add Evaluation button.
3.First you will create the course evaluation by entering the Evaluation Title and the evaluation's First Question.
4.Select the Response Type for learners to use to answer the question, and then click the Next button.
a.If you don't see the one you are looking for, you can create a response type.
5.Now you will complete the evaluation by adding more questions. DO NOT set the Evaluation Status to "Active" until you are finished building it.
6.To add new questions to the evaluation, click on the Questions tab and click the Add Question button.
7.Enter a question in the New Question text box and select a response type from the drop-down menu.
8.Click the Add Question to Evaluation button. Continue this process until all of the questions are added.
a.You can change the order of the evaluation questions with the up and down arrows on the side.
b.You can also delete or edit questions with the buttons associated with each one.
9.When the evaluation is finished, click on the Active radio button for the evaluation's Evaluation Status on the Properties tab.
Some course evaluations are "Locked" and cannot be edited because they are currently being used in a course event. In this case, use the Copy Evaluation link to create a new, editable copy of the same evaluation.
Follow these steps to edit a course evaluation:
1.In the Administration area, click on the Course Evaluations tab.
2.Click on the title of the course evaluation to be modified.
3.On the evaluation's Properties tab, you can change the Title or Evaluation Status.
4.To add new questions to the evaluation, click on the Questions tab and click the Add Question button.
5.Enter a question in the New Question text box and select a response type from the drop-down menu.
6.Click the Add Question to Evaluation button. Continue this process until all of the questions are added.

Some course evaluations are "Locked" and cannot be edited because they are currently being used in a course event. In this case, use the "Archived" radio button to remove this evaluation from active lists while keeping the information.
Follow these steps to delete a course evaluation:
1.In the Administration area, click on the Course Evaluations tab.
2.Click on the title of the course evaluation to be modified.
3.Click the Delete Evaluation button. Alternately, you can archive a course evaluation instead by clicking the Archived radio button.
Choosing Delete will remove this course evaluation’s information permanently.
