The DIF (Difficulty Importance Frequency) represents a numerical qualification to be used in an algorithm used to determine how often a task should be trained, or if it even needs to be trained at all. The survey is simply questions sent to employees who do the task, and who are then asked to rate it according to the DIF criteria. These surveys are averaged and adjusted, and then put through VISION’s matrix to recommend if a task needs training and if so, how often.
