The Vision Outcomes Report (VOR) assembles the content contained in the Program object and the sequenced Objectives to generate a complete outcome. To access the VOR, first select the node you wish to create an outcome for. Next, click Outcomes on the Main Menu and select Microsoft Office Document. Expand the Office Reports node, select VISION Outcomes Report, and click the Run button. First you will be asked to save your document, and then the VOR interface window will appear.
When you run the VISION Outcomes Report you will be able to select the outcome's location. The VOR will create a VISION Outcome Reports sub-directory to contain the files it generates, unless the selected directory path is already pointing to a sub-directory named VISION Office Reports. It will also produce a log file, VISION Office Report.log, in the VISION Outcome Reports directory when the VOR is finished or an error occurs.
All files written by the VOR have a filename similar to User-Defined ID - Filename.docx(.pdf).

Use this tab to generate your training outcome. Start by selecting you Outcome Type from the drop-down menu, then select your Content Options, Outcome Options, and Output Options. Be sure to select options in that order, as they will each constrain the options available in the next section. When you have made your selections, click the Generate Outcome button.
The primary control is a drop-down list of Outcome types. The outcome you select determines which other options are available. Default settings for some of the Content and Output options may be preset and locked depending on how the VOR is configured at your site. The display at the bottom provides a dynamic log of the activities being performed by the VOR.
These options determine whether select types of content are written into the outcome document.
The Outcome Options determine which files are generated and how.
•Reprint Objective in content: For Enabling Objectives, prints a statement of the Enabling Objective behavior before the Objective's content.
oFor the DBIG outcome type this option is selected and the control is disabled. Additionally, for DBIGs the Objective statement is written for all Enabling Objectives regardless of whether content is included.
•Print Questions after each objective: Prints Practice Questions for the Objective immediately after the Objective's content, instead of all together at the end of the outcome content.
•Mark as Exam: Marks every page of the outcome as exam material.
•Mark as Confidential: Marks every page of the outcome as confidential.
•Book layout: Formats each Word outcome document for book-style printing. All level 1 headings are printed on an odd numbered page. Different odd/even page headers and footers are used.
•Protect output: If selected password-protects outcome document to prevent editing.
The Output Options control what other information is written into the outcome.
•Draft output: Does not generate a Student Guide, any PDF files, or Forms.
•Generate Student Guide: May be deselected for the Course/Lesson outcome type. Disabled for all other Outcome types as no Student Guide is generated.
•Generate PowerPoint: Selected by default for outcomes using the Lesson content processing method IF PowerPoint content found in any learning object. Enabled, but not selected, for other Outcomes only if PowerPoint content found. Selected and disabled if Presentation-only course is selected.
•Presentation-only course: When selected Generate PowerPoint option selected and disabled, only PowerPoint and Forms files generated. Option only available for Outcomes generated by the Lesson Content processing method. Disabled if Generate PowerPoint option is not selected.
oTU may be designated as presentation-only by linking the Program object to VISION/REPORT OPTIONS table item PPT-ONLY.
•Process TUs as Parts: Only enabled if a Program course object is selected. When enabled, determines how child TUs in the selected course are processed.
oWhen selected (the default), child TUs are processed into a single outcome for the parent Course. The parent Course Program Introduction content serves as the Introduction to the outcome, the child TU Introductions serve as the Introduction to each new Part of the outcome.
oWhen de-selected, child TUs are processed as independent TUs and a separate outcome is generated for each child TU. The parent Course is not processed.
The Print Reports Only button on the Generate Training Material tab generates the document elements listed below. Again, only the minimum data needed is extracted from the VISION database.
