Identify the method by which the trainee qualifies on this Task. From the list of choices, you may use the empty selection to signify that there is no qualification, or no formal qualification, on this item.
For Tasks that are assigned a qualification method, identify how often the trainee must qualify. From the list of choices, you may use the empty selection to signify that the trainee needs to qualify only once and never has to requalify.
Select what action personnel qualified on this task will have to take if this task is changed. The default choices are, "No Effect", "Must Retrain" and "Must Requalify". These choices are for record keeping, they will not change how VISION interacts with the task. Even if the impact of the task change is "No Effect" you must select it from the menu rather than leaving the option blank (not answered). Depending on your VISION project's settings, this may be required before the task can be Approved.
Note that if a task is taken out of Completed (Approved) status, this property will revert to the blank (not answered) option and the appropriate action will need to be selected again.
This option can be changed for the whole project in VISION Security.
Steps to Assign Task Change Impact
In the window below, list the learners who have qualified on this task.
•Who's Qualified: These are the learners who have qualified on this task. Click on any column label to sort by that column.
•Adjust Expiration Date: The date on which the selected learner's qualification will end. Click the drop-down menu to change the expiration date. A qualification expires immediately after the expiration date. For example, if the Date Expires shows 3/5/2020 00:00:00, it is Orange and soon to be expired on 3/5/2020 and will be expired the next day, on 3/6/2020.
•Print Button: Click here to open a window showing a printable picture of this list.
•Count: The number of learners qualified on this task.
Use the Qualification Method Requalification Frequency drop down lists to set expiration dates for learner's qualifications.
Note that only users with permission in the Security module can expire task qualifications.
•If the Qualification Method is set to the empty entry, the Expiration Date is “None”.
•If the Qualification Method is set to any value and the Requalification Frequency is set to the empty entry, again the Expiration Date is “None”.
•If a value is selected for the Requalification Frequency (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, etc), the expiration date becomes value in the Date Qualified + the Requalification Frequency. For example, if the Date Qualified is April 1st, 2020, and the requalification frequency is "Monthly", the Date Expired will be May 1st, 2020.
•Change the Expiration Date manually by selecting a date from the Adjust Expiration Date menu and click the Apply button.
In the window below, list the qual cards that include this task.
•Qual Cards: These are the Qual Cards that include this task. Click on any column label to sort by that column. Double-click on a Qual Card to view or edit its properties.
•Properties Button: Click to open the workscreen for the Qual Card selected above. Alternatively, just double-click on a Qual Card above.
If your login account has permission to edit VISION lists, then you can add to or change the choices in the Qualification Method, Requalification Frequency and Task Change Impact lists. Each project has its own list, so any changes or additions affect only the project that owns this Task.
