Below is a list of all menu options under the Other Features menu.
Tip: To get help on any of these commands from VISION, click the Help button
and select any command from the menu.
Selecting this option opens the VISION Security program in another window. The Security program is used for configuring projects, among other things. Note that you can only log in to the Security program if you have been granted that privilege.
Open the external VISION Cross-Reference Table Utility program in another window. That utility can be used to move and copy cross reference tables.
Open the external VISION Data Export-Import program.
The import function can import data that has been exported by the same program, or even other data that has been formatted like the VISION export files.
For complete information on the export-import program, see this document in your VISION application folder: VISION\Docs\Data Export-Import.doc
Note that, though you formerly had to import or export Word and PPT content separately, the Import/Export program will now automatically include all content if you are importing or exporting Objective or Program data. If you do not wish to export content you can delete the content folder once the export is complete.
Launch the VISION Learning Station or VISION Connect.
This option will only appear if you have the appropriate license.
When logging is turned on, VISION will write every SQL statement sent to the database to a log file. The log can aid the vendor in diagnosing slow performance of VISION.
It is recommended that logging only be turned on when troubleshooting a performance problem in VISION because logging slows down the system.
