Watch this 3 minute video for an overview of editing an approved course event.
•Training units are the instructional information of the course -- objectives, questions, instructional content (and in some cases, tasks).
•They are the raw data of a course, and are transferred to the VLS as a single package.
•VISION Learning Station Courses take the raw data in the VDM Training Unit and turn it into lessons.
•VLS Course Events present those lessons to students.
•When you need to make a change to something in the training unit,
•you must create a new version of the entire package.
Let’s say that you need to edit the content in one of the lesson’s objectives.
1.First you must make a new version of the objective.
2.Then you will edit it and approve it.
3.Next, you will save and approve a new version of the training unit.
4.You will save and approve the new version of the VDM Course.
Now we can update the course in the VISION Learning Station.
1.First we must create a new version of the VLS course that will use our new objective.
2.Finally, we will make a new Course Event and deliver the updated course to learners.
