Though courses are created and organized in the Learning Station, they deliver content that is created and stored in the VISION Developer module. In order to change the content or add or remove objectives, you must be able to change the course in the VDM.
It is important to note that once a learner has completed a course, VISION will count that course as completed forever after (unless the course is given an expiration date). If you are changing a course so much that learners should take it again, you may wish to create a new course instead of editing an existing one.
Editing an objective or training unit will take it out of approved state, so remember that you will have to create a new course for the updated training unit in the VISION Learning Station once you are done making edits in VISION Developer.
1.In the Program hierarchy of the VISION Developer module, navigate to the training unit that you wish to change.
2.Double click on the training unit node to open it and create a new, editable version of it.
3.Click on the Design page. You will see a list of the objectives contained within the training unit.
4.Highlight the objective and click the Unlink button. This can also be done by right-clicking the objective in the “Objectives Linked to Program” links window.
5.Approve the new version on the General page.
