VISION User Guide

An instructor or other administrator with access to the course event management page may email all or some of the enrolled learners. If only one learner is selected, that learner's email will be placed in the TO: field of the email. If more than one learner is selected, the recipient list will be obscured by placing the emails into the BCC: field, and the instructor's email address will be placed in the TO: field, as well as the FROM: field.

Follow these steps to email learners in a course event:

1.Click on Administration on the Main Menu.

2.Click on the Courses tab. This is the default tab when entering the Administration area.

3.Click on the Active Events button Blue Number Arrow for the course that has the event you want, and then click on the event link.

4.Click on the Learners tab.

5.Under "Select" check the names of the learners you wish to email and then click the Email Selected Learners button.  Alternatively, you can email a single learner by clicking the desired hyper-linked address in the "Email" column.

6.This will open your email client and enter the learner's email address in the "To" field and course event title in the "Subject" field.
